Papers of the Williams families of Waupaca County (Wis.) consisting of diaries and account books (1870-1919) including transcriptions of the diaries compiled by Don and Betty Hansen. Harry Williams was the first white child born in Bear Creek (Wis.) and the diaries of Harry, his wife Laura (née Wolcott), and his father Lucien document weather, chores, and observations regarding family members and neighbors. The account books are largely addenda added to the diaries in the final pages. The photographs include images of multiple generations of the Williams family as well as images of the house and outbuildings.
